LITTLE ELM, TX – The Professional Disc Golf Association held its Texas Women’s Championship in Leander, Texas. Entering in the Advanced Masters group, Lori Cravey won first place. Cravey is from Little Elm and her Dad is Doug Cravey, a former Mayor of the Town. Behind by five strokes, she won the tournament by one stroke after three rounds. Disc Golf is similar to regular golf, except you use a Frisbee instead of balls. It begins at a tee and ends in the basket (hole). It is designed to be played by every one of all ages. Joanna Daskivich Little Elm High School baseball team is playoff bound. They are in division 5A and their win against Lake Dallas secured them a spot in the playoffs this year. The group gathered at D3 salon in Little Elm to celebrate and follow through on the idea to cut and color as an entire team.
