AUBEY ISD, TX – Aubrey High School freshman Sarah Auer competed at the Texas USA Gymnastics Level 7 State Championships at Metroplex Gymnastics in Allen on April 7 and 8. She placed first in the vault, becoming the USAG Texas Level 7 vault champion and finished second in the all-around competition and the bars event. She advances to the Region 3 Championships for regional competition in Kansas City, Missouri. Traveling to cheer on your favorite Denton ISD team is about to get easier DENTON ISD, TX- The University Interscholastic League announced its bi-annual realignment today, Feb. 1, placing the athletic programs from Braswell, Denton, Guyer and Ryan high schools in new conferences and districts. The district’s four high schools will be split into the state’s largest conference classifications with Guyer competing in Class 6A and Braswell, Denton and Ryan staying in Class 5A for the next two school years beginning this fall. Guyer will join Keller, Keller Central, Keller Fossil Ridge, Keller Timber Creek, Northwest Eaton, Northwest Nelson and Southlake Carroll District 5-6A for football and basketball.
