Meet Busby the Inspiration Behind Busby’s Décor

Oak Points, Sarah Vilhauer’s father purchased Busby when she was a young girl. The car had many layers of avocado green paint and had only 52,000 miles. It was a running and driving vehicle that had been only used on a summer estate called Monkswood near Rhinelander, Wisconsin. This was a nicely accessorized car with bumper guards, fog lights, hill holder, six lug wheel locks, window washer, directionals and the coolest little sun visors that fit next to the rear view mirror. Planning of Denton Independent School District’s eighth middle school is progressing in anticipation of a likely fall 2017 opening, with the district’s board of trustees recently receiving a glimpse at the school’s tentative design that emphasizes collaborative learning. DCYC Opening Day Ceremony

OAK POINT, TX – Dallas Corinthian Yacht Club Opening Day Ceremony was formally celebrated on Saturday the 18th with recognizing club officers, with flags being raised simultaneous to the cannon’s firing. The event took place overlooking the pool with a fleet of sailboats on the water. After was a blessing of the boats led by Chance Beck , followed by a Champagne Toast and lunch. DCYC Celebrates the Christmas and Winter Season

Dallas Corinthian Yacht Club located in Oak Point, knows how to make the Christmas-Winter Season special! As captured in the photo, there is a Santa Claus Pursuit Race where all competitors including crew wear Santa hats. This really navigated DCYC right into the festivity of the season! The family friendly club’s primary formal affair is held in December, The Commodores Ball and is always elegantly fun. October Regatta and Event Fun at DCYC

Located in Oak Point is a member owned club, Dallas Corinthian Yacht Club. October is a outstanding month to visit the unpretentious club for reasons beyond gorgeous weather. Launching the racing is a youth TSA Regatta, October 5th and 6th. In this event, young racers can sharpen their skill sets of navagating, setting sails, reading wind, judgement calls and rounding the markers, to finish the race course. Dallas Corinthian Heritage Cup Regatta, Plus Hobie Mid Americas Racing

Dallas Corinthian Yacht Club’s Open House was a huge success as the member owned Oak Point Club officially launched the boating season. The ceremony was complete with cannons, officers flags, blessing of the boats, lunch, champagne toast, boat parade and ending with a casual club dinner. Not to be missed is the Corinthian Heritage Cup Regatta held May 17th and 18th. The Regatta is spectacular viewing with graceful colorful sails, followed by a casual club dinner and live entertainment.
