The City of Krugerville will receive a permanent place for areas Flag Burning Ceremonies. Julian Prickett, from Boy Scout Troop #361, of the Longhorn Council, as part of his Eagle Scout Project, has built a formal Flag Retirement Burn Pit. The fire pit is located behind Krugerville City Hall to retire the U.S. and Texas Flags. This fire pit will be available to residents of the City of Krugerville as well as neighboring cities. This year the cities of Aubrey, Cross Roads and Krugerville joined together for the Don’t Mess With Texas TrashOff. There were a total of 150 volunteers for all three cities; Aubrey, 81; Cross Roads, 50; and Krugerville 19. The following teams for each city: Most Trash Collected/ Aubrey The “A” Team; Cross Roads Tony Russo; Krugerville Trey Wilthers.
