Nineteen New Confirmed COVID-19 Cases in Denton County   March 25, 2020 – Denton County Public Health (DCPH) has announced nineteen additional laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Denton County. This increases the countywide total to 70 confirmed COVID-19 cases. Included in the nineteen cases is one additional Denton State Supported Living Center resident, a female in her 50s who is currently hospitalized. Rule Changes Strengthen Public Safety AUSTIN, TX – Effective Monday, Feb. 12, Railroad Commission pipeline damage prevention rules require excavators who strike a pipeline while digging to notify the pipeline operator by calling the 811- notification center as soon as possible, but no later than one hour after an incident. Little Elm Police Arrest Suspect in January Homicide

LITTLE ELM, TX – An arrest has been made in the case which resulted in the death of a Little Elm resident last month. On Friday, Feb. 2, officers executed a warrant for the arrest of Shania Craven, 25, in connection with the death of Christopher Singh, 31. Craven, the spouse of the deceased, was taken into custody for the offense of murder. Singh died as a result of injuries sustained on Jan. 28 which investigators attribute to Craven during a domestic dispute.
