Dear Chamber Members within the Town of Little Elm ONLY, 

In an effort to support local businesses during this challenging time, the following requirements detailed in the Town of Little Elm’s Code of Ordinances are amended, as follows, for a period of 30 days or until such time that the Governor of Texas rescinds the standing Disaster Declaration, whichever comes first:

  1. Sec. 86-13. Permitted signs
    1. (2) Banner signs – two week limit extended to cover period of impact
    2. (8) Human signs – Permit and fee requirement waived
    3. (9) Inflatable signs – Event permit and fee requirement waived
    4. (14) Window – Amended to allow temporary window art and lettering
      1. (a) Manner
        1. (1) 30 percent area restriction waived
        2. (2) Open sign limit/size restriction waived
  2. Sec 106.06.11 Landscaping general administration
    1. (C) Enforcement – Landscape maintenance requirements for existing commercial developments is suspended

All remaining elements of the Town’s Code of Ordinances, in each category, remain in effect.  Nothing in this order should be construed to imply that anything other than temporary actions are considered or permitted.  This order is effective immediately.
