AUBREY, TEXAS BOXER WINS WORKING GROUP AT 144TH ANNUAL WESTMINSTER KENNEL CLUB DOG SHOW IN NEW YORK CITY
NEW YORK – The Boxer “Wilma” of Aubrey, Texas, handled by Michael Shepherd for owners Keith and Cheryl Robbins, Bonnie Wagaman and Debbie Caywood, won the Working Group under Judge Jay Richardson at the 144th Annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in New York City on February 11, 2020.
Wilma, a 4 ½-year-old female, officially known as GCHP2 Cinnibon’s Bedrock Bombshell, bred by Bonnie Wagaman and Nicole Manna, took top honors in a field of 29 Best of Breed winners entered, comprising the Working Group. Westminster reached its conformation entry limit of 2,500 dogs, with three days of Best of Breed competition held Feb. 9-11 at Pier 94, and Group and Best in Show competition held at Madison Square Garden.
“This is the second consecutive year that Wilma has won the always competitive Working Group here,” said Westminster Kennel Club Director of Communications Gail Miller Bisher. “Congratulations to the entire team.”
