The Gift of Helping Nature

Adopt-A-Nest Box at Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge Center

Nest boxes are available now through January 31, 2020 or while supplies last.

Eastern Bluebirds make their homes in Texas during certain times of the year. There populations have been steadily declining over the years.  You can help the plight of the Eastern Bluebird while learning all about their nesting habits!  For a small donation to The Friends of the Hagerman, your adopted nest box will have your name on it and you’ll receive an email every week with a picture of the inside and an explanation of everything happening in the nest box.  This not only helps out nature but makes a great Christmas gift, especially for children.

For more information call (903)786-2826 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday or 1:00 and 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.

For more information about this and other events, please email:  Friendsofhagerman@gmail.com. or call Patricia Crain (940) 391-5135.  All events are sponsored by the Friends of Hagerman and occur at the Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center. located at 6465 Refuge Road, Sherman, TX 75092.
