Presented to Childrens Lighthouse Learning CenterSM in Oak Point During Annual Franchise Convention and Awards Ceremony

OAK POINT, TX – Julie and Michael Carter, owners of Childrens Lighthouse Learning CenterSM in Oak Point, joined more than 50 franchisees and business partners at the 2018 Children’s Lighthouse National Franchise Convention in Las Vegas. During the four-day event held from Thursday, January 25 through Sunday, January 28, franchisees participated in training seminars, panel discussions and business enhancement programs. A high point of the convention was the awards ceremony where the Carters were recognized with the “Bright Star” award, a special honor given to the franchise owner with consistent high enrollment numbers, surpassing the benchmarks the brand uses to measure business performance. “It’s a special time when we bring our whole franchise system together for a couple of days,” said Michael Brown, president of Children’s Lighthouse Franchise Company. “It allows us to reflect on the past year and call attention to franchisees that are overcoming obstacles, performing at high levels and leading by example.

In this case, it brings great joy to recognize Julie and Michael for their hard work and dedication. We look forward to watching them continue to grow with Children’s Lighthouse in the months and years to come.” Inspired by the high standards and remarkable curriculum offered by Children’s Lighthouse, Julie and Michael opened their learning center in the hopes of having a positive impact on local families. Michael is a long-time Denton resident, and he and Julie both resided in Oak Point for several years. Since opening the center, they have given more than 150 local children a head start in life through early education. “Children’s Lighthouse serves a very special need in our community,” Julie noted. “We understand, firsthand, how important it is for parents to have a safe, nurturing and educational space for their children. We thank our amazing management team and teachers for helping to make Children’s Lighthouse of Oak Point an inviting space for families.”
