LITTLE ELM, TX – An arrest has been made in the case which resulted in the death of a Little Elm resident last month. On Friday, Feb. 2, officers executed a warrant for the arrest of Shania Craven, 25, in connection with the death of Christopher Singh, 31. Craven, the spouse of the deceased, was taken into custody for the offense of murder. Singh died as a result of injuries sustained on Jan. 28 which investigators attribute to Craven during a domestic dispute. Detectives were able to gather sufficient physical evidence and relevant facts that established probable cause, a condition required to request and obtain a warrant. The warrant was issued by Precinct 2 Justice of the Peace James DePiazza. Craven was transported to the Denton County Jail where she was arraigned by Judge Robin Ramsey. Bond was set at $200,000. The individual remains in custody. Detectives are in the process of preparing the case for presentation to the Denton County District Attorney.
