“Greater Gardening”, a three-part gardening series sponsored by Keep Aubrey Beautiful will be held at the Aubrey Area Library (226 Countryside Drive) in the Community Room beginning January 18, 2018. Member speakers from Denton County Master Gardener Association (DCMGA) will present the following topics: “Texas Native and Adaptive Plants” (January 18, 2018), “Growing and Cooking with Herbs” (February 15, 2018), and “Gardening from the Ground Up: Soil and Composting” (March 15, 2018). Each class begins at 6:00 p.m. and will last approximately one hour. This free educational series is open to the public. Gardeners of all ages are welcome. The “Friends of the Library” support group for the Little Elm Library held a huge book sale for residents of the 380 corridor. Parents came out and browsed through the large selection of books with their children. The young people enjoyed picking their own books to take home.
