Many of us have loved ones affected by this disaster that is still not over.  Financial donations are the most helpful and can be applied where most needed. Those wishing to donate should only do so to a recognized disaster relief organization to avoid getting scammed.

The Savannah HOA is setting up a donation drop location at the main clubhouse during business hours from now until further notice.  Thursday 8/31 and 9/7 from 4-6PM will be Drive-By Donation times where we will collect items in the round about in front of the Clubhouse.  The HOA staff will then transport these donations to the reception center in Dallas.  Please see the list below for donation items that the HOA can accept.  The donation list is not calling for non-perishable food items at this time.

Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund, administered by the Greater Houston Community Foundation

Houston Food Bank and the Food Bank of Corpus Christi are asking for donations.

To assist with animals affected by the disaster, visit the Houston Humane Society or the San Antonio Humane Society.

United Way of Greater Houston is collecting funds for long-term services such as home repairs. Visit their website to donate or text UWFLOOD to 41444.

Diapers needed

Texas Diaper Bank is collecting diapers and wipes for emergency kits distributed to affected families. Both cash and diapers are needed. You can donate at www.texasdiaperbank.org, designate to disaster relief.
