Box 620 Volunteers visited the Little Elm Chamber of Commerce’s monthly luncheon. This month it was held at the Safety Center. The presentation was led by Jennifer Villalpando, the organizations Secretary and Treasurer. They are a quiet rehab unit of volunteers that support the area fire and police departments in a big way. They are always on the scene when the Little Elm Public Safety groups respond to an emergency. Box 620 is vital to the emergency personnel on the calls, providing rehydration, nourishment, shade, and rest on location. They do a lot of vital sign monitoring for the personnel on site to assure their safety. The organization depends on public support; they raise money with fundraisers and donations. Their big fundraiser is coming up at their Ninth Annual Raffle. If you would like to donate cash, or raffle prizes please contact them via email at rehab@box620 and a volunteer will come by to pick up your donation. The prizes this year include a 55 inch TV, Apple I-Pad, and an Xbox One S. All prizes will be given out at the Open House at the Little Elm Fire station on October 7th.
