Opening Soon in Oak Point

Jennifer Nagy, Director My name is Jennifer Nagy, and I am excited to be the new Children’s Lighthouse Oak Point Director. I wanted to share a little about myself with you. I grew up in Flower Mound, Texas and graduated from Lewisville High School. I then attended Oklahoma State University where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Child Development and met my husband, Logan. We moved back to the Dallas area to start our family. We have lived in Little Elm for about three years with our two boys, Aiden (six) and Hudson (three), and love the small town feel of the 380 Corridor. We enjoy spending our time outdoors, going to the movies, and traveling. I have worked in early childhood education for over 12 years, and served as a director for eight. I love watching children grow and learn new things, and have a passion for running high quality educational preschools with a warm and nurturing environment. I look forward to meeting all of you and building lasting relationships. I can’t wait for our school to open and make an impact on the young lives of our amazing community!

Meaghan Jarosz, Assistant Director My name is Meaghan Jarosz, and I am excited to be the new Children’s Lighthouse Oak Point Assistant Director. I was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska but moved around in Oklahoma living in Ada, Tulsa and finally settling in Edmond where I graduated from Edmond North High School. After moving so much, I decided to stay local and attended the University of Central Oklahoma where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science that included a focus on Elementary Education. During college I worked in banking and that led me to my wonderful husband Stanley. We moved to Texas so he could expand on his career, and for us to be near my family as we started our own! We have lived in Little Elm for three years with our two beautiful children and one rambunctious dog Dagger. Martin our son is three and Sloane our daughter is one and a half. We live in Savannah, and love the unique feel of a small town that comes with the 380 Corridor style of living. I have become very passionate about this area and love the people. In our spare time, we are typically found outside enjoying nature and getting active, or inside rooting for a hockey game! As I said above I started college with Elementary Education in mind, but my banking career advanced quickly. I have 11 years’ experience in corporate learning and development and retail banking, and have spent the last two years augmenting that experience in Early Childhood Education. I love to teach and develop and am so excited my experiences lead me back to children. I look forward to meeting you all!

Katie North, Admin Assistant My name is Katie North, and I am excited to be the new Children’s Lighthouse Oak Point Administrative Assistant. I grew up in The Colony, Texas, and graduated from The Colony High School. I attended Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas where I played collegiate volleyball for all four years. After college I returned back to the area, where I eventually met my husband. He was a Captain in the Army and that allowed us to travel and see places like Hawaii, and other cultures. We moved back home to Texas a few months ago with our son Ladyn, who is two years old, and found ourselves drawn to the small town feel of Little Elm. We love everything about this area and enjoy spending our time outdoors and being very active! I am excited to learn and grow with the school, and excited to meet each and every parent and child along the way!
